7 London Casting Directors You Should Know

Something Curated highlights seven names you should know.
Madeleine Østlie, AAMO

The Norwegian-born casting director originally founded AAMO with model Adwoa Aboah, who has since moved onto other projects. Østlie got her big break courtesy of Katie Grand, who hired her to cast for Love magazine, quickly leading to projects with Edward Enninful, the Italian and American editions of Vogue and clients including Marc Jacobs, Jo Malone, and Estee Lauder.
Danny Reed
London-based stylist and consultant Danny Reed recently cast a particularly memorable line-up for MAN designers Rottingdean Bazaar’s AW18 show. Reed has previously worked with magazines including Man About Town and Popeye, among others.
Mischa Notcutt, 11 Casting

Mischa Notcutt, founder of 11 Casting, is a stylist and casting director. Notcutt consults for Cottweiler and styles shoots for various publications including i-D, Wonderland and Rollercoaster. She has also worked with various artists including MIA for her Matangi tour, and brands such as ASAI, Liam Hodges and Ashish.
Chloe Rosolek, Chloe Rosolek Casting
Casting director Chloe Rosolek has collaborated with publications including Replica Man, Pop, Arena Homme +, Beauty Papers, Tank, Metal, and Dazed, among others. She works closely with London-based designer Dilara Findikoglu, having cast her shows as well as her AW16 and SS17 campaigns.
Henry Thomas, Arqa
Henry Thomas has crafted the runway line-ups for a slew of brands, from Christopher Shannon and Alexander Wang to Lanvin and Balenciaga. After graduating, he went on to assist Cypriot-born stylist and fashion editor Panos Yiapanis , followed by Another Man creative director Alister Mackie . Whilst working with Mackie, Thomas was doing casting jobs on the side. Following his casting stint at Lanvin, Thomas set up his own agency, Arqa.
Campbell Addy, Nii Agency
Campbell Addy is the photographer and model agent behind Nii Agency, devoted to diverse representation. Finding it challenging to see new faces that were not the conventional Eurocentric norm, Addy began street-casting as a way to cast for his own photography, before realising there was potential to represent the faces in his pictures. Today he works with brands such as Alexander McQueen and MCM.
Troy Fearn, Troy Casting

As well as representing models at Troy Agency, London-based Troy Fearn runs Troy Casting, having cast faces for titles including Arena Homme, Another Man, L’Officiel Homme, Dust, Re:edition, Hero, Heroine, Replica Man, Office, Numero Homme and Behind The Blinds.
