Piela has immersed himself in nearly every aspect of physical culture and it informs every session he provides.

 

Joanna Vargas || Facialist, Founder of Joanna Vargas Skin Care

Joanna Vargas opened her Bryant Park location in 2006, and since then, it’s become a destination for celebrities, editors and skin care fanatics alike. In the time that her salon has been open, Vargas has racked up an impressive list of clients that include Naomi Watts and Julianne Moore. She’s also known for her eponymous line of natural products, which she sells both in her spa locations and online.

 

Dr. Oz Garcia || Nutritionist

New York-based nutritionist Dr. Oz Garcia has been a pioneer in nutrition for 40 years, having offered nutritional advice to eminent clients, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Naomi Campbell, and having sold best-selling wellness books and lectured globally. Garcia’s approach not only emphasises weight management but also healthy aging.

 

Akin Akman || SoulCycle Instructor

Akin Akman is one of many SoulCycle instructors in New York, yet he has managed to establish himself as one of the best in the city. Akman trains some of the fashion and entertainment industry’s top profiles. The Turkish American instructor is so loved, that his devoted followers have helped brand himself as Akin of Akin’s Army.

  

Krissy Jones || Yoga Instructor, Co-founder of SKY TING YOGA 

Krissy Jones, who trained as a dancer, specialises in a blend of Katonah yoga, itself a hybrid of traditional hatha yoga, pranayama breathing techniques, and Taoist teachings, with active vinyasa sequences that result in a rich practice. Jones partnered with her fellow teacher, Chloe Kernaghan, to open Sky Ting Yoga, an airy, light-filled Chinatown studio offering a menu of classes.

 

Paige Bourassa || Acupuncturist 

Acupuncturist Paige Bourassa grew up in Vancouver, Canada and became passionate about Alternative Medicine after having several remarkable experiences with it at a young age. Following training in Ayurveda, Paige studied Psychology at the University of Colorado and began to assimilate what she had learned of Eastern Medicine with Western Psychology.

 

Kirk Myers || Trainer, Founder of Dogpound

Since opening its Soho location two years ago, Dogpound has garnered an impressive reputation. Offering both personal training sessions and classes, it has become a fitness hub for New York’s eminent. Before founder Kirk Myers was helping athletes win medals, and helping models prepare for the runway, he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure due to obesity. Myers’s greatest transformation is perhaps his own, and the life-changing experience has undoubtedly made him a better trainer.

 

Dr. David Colbert || Dermatologist

David Colbert has been established in private practice in New York since 1995, after studying medicine at La Faculté Libré de Medecine in Lille, France, receiving his degree from New York Medical College and completing his residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. His patients include many of New York’s eminent creative figures, including actors, architects, designers, media personalities, and dancers.
