Looking back at the year so far, Something Curated reflects on some of the most engaging visual content to have emerged from the fashion world over the recent months.

Paloma Spain by Federik Heyman

Featured in Dust Magazine, this striking image, part of a larger series, shot by Antwerp Academy graduate Federik Heyman features model Sylvie Kreusch reclining on a white BMW, wearing a total look and bag from Paloma Spain’s AW18 collection, entitled The Hunting.

Craig Green by Erwan Frontin

London menswear designer Craig Green’s FW18 collaboration with outerwear brand Moncler was recently featured in a captivating editorial printed in Numero Homme. Shot by Erwan Frontin, using the specialised technique of large format photography, Erwan’s meanderings inflect his manifold aesthetic explorations of the very essence of image-making.

Asai by Hendrik Schneider

Having presented his final collection under the umbrella of Fashion East last month, Asai Ta released a series of photographs earlier this year featuring a body of work shot by London and Berlin-based photographer Hendrik Schneider. The Avatar inspired make-up look and hair was created by Shiori Takahashi and Ammy Drammeh.

Claire Barrow by Frank Lebon

For her latest drop, ‘XTreme Sports: Adrenaline’, designer and illustrator Claire Barrow collaborated with photographer Frank Lebon, and stylists Danny Reed and Danielle Emerson, among others, to create a memorable series of images which playfully smudge the line between art and fashion.

Buffalo Zine by Joyce NG

With every issue of Buffalo Zine coming with a complete redesign, the magazine’s theme dictates its format, with past issues appearing like shopping catalogues, home and interiors magazines and tabloid newspapers. Issue 7, from earlier this year, offered a nod to the call of summer with a “Holidays in Spain” edition. As part of the issue’s launch, Buffalo released a limited run of paper fans, featuring an image of model Lilliana Davis sprawled across a beach, shot by Joyce NG and styled by Akeem Smith.
