Israeli couple, Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer, respectively of Ottolenghi and Nopi, opened the restaurant, Honey & Co., in 2013. Following much success, their acclaimed Middle Eastern diner is now branching out, with the launch of a new deli. Located a few doors down from their first offering, the Warren Street store provides customers with a comprehensive selection of Middle Eastern ingredients.

You can expect to find spices, groceries, as well as a selection of delicious take-away items. The deli will carry the same products used in the cooking at Honey & Co., including Turkish biber, mahleb, homemade spice mixes, tahini from Lebanon, grape and pomegranate molasses, and kadaif pastry. Srulovich and Packer will also be selling their homemade jams, fresh fruit and veg, and a curated collection of homewares, such as hand painted tiles and shakshuka pans. Homemade ice cream and a range of the duo’s favourite wines will soon be on offer too.

There is a small seating area at the back, offering a cosy lunch spot for up to ten diners at a time. Currently the Honey & Co. deli is open from 11-6pm Monday to Saturday, with plans to stay open all day in the near future.
