Non-Binary Fashion Collective Art School Work Live At SHOWstudio
By Something CuratedART SCHOOL join the likes of Charles Jeffrey, Judy Blame, Gareth Pugh and Iris Van Herpen, continuing SHOWstudio’s tradition of inviting a designer to take residence in the studio. ART SCHOOL present their take on genre-bending design, high concept, queer fashion and performance in the latest LiveStudio.
From 1-2 May 2018, artist Dominic Myatt is transforming the white walls of the SHOWstudio cove with his subversive works, incorporating the backdrop into the creation of ART SCHOOL’s upcoming collection: High Concept Character. Watch the entire process unfold as well as interviews with a selection of industry experts on SHOWstudio now.
Helmed by partners Eden Loweth and Tom Barratt, London-based label ART SCHOOL focuses on redefining the limitations of ready-to-wear fashion, blurring the lines of menswear and womenswear to produce a contemporary representation of unisex clothing. ART SCHOOL aims to celebrate the idiosyncratic nature of queer style, and indeed, the non-binary identities of the two founders are inseparable from the DNA of their brand.
